It costs an average of $4.59 to prepare and serve one meal. During fiscal year 2006/2007,

67 % was paid by Federal and State funding, 25 % was paid by donations from participants (an average of  $1.15 per participant per meal) and 8 % ($19,189.00) had to be raised through fundraising efforts and other sources.

 

The minimum suggested contribution for a meal, whether served at one of the nutrition sites or delivered to your home, is $2.25 If you can afford to donate more, it will be very much appreciated. We also accept food stamps as donations for the meals.
