Here and There Transit service has the following fares for all passengers that ride the vans:
- $ .75 cents each way, within Belington or Philippi City limits
- $ 1.25 each way, within Barbour County
- $ 7.50 round trip to Clarksburg, Elkins or Buckhannon for regularly scheduled shopping trips
- Medical Transportation – Medicaid accepted for eligible clients see the Transportation Coordinator for sliding fee scale
Every passenger on the van must pay the above-mentioned fares. These fares help us to cover the costs of the driver gasoline maintenance and other expenses for this service. If your income is limited you may be eligible for TRIP tickets, which can be obtained through the Department of Health and Human Resources. For more information you can call them at 457-2780.
The Senior Center van will not make scheduled van runs whenever schools are closed and school buses are not running. Please watch local TV stations or listen to the radio for school closings on days when the weather is bad. Thank you for your cooperation.
